Anderson PSI Division Novels (Black Flame)

As with the Dredd novels, we have another major character from Justice Department in book form Judge Anderson. Sadly we only get three of these books.

'Following a string of grisly murders, Anderson fears that the killer is actually a psychic himself, hunting down those that he sees as "Red". Driven by a near uncontrollable rage, the killer will not stop until all of his prey are dead. When Anderson realises that the "Reds" are in fact psychics, her murder investigation becomes a battle for survival, because the killer is ready to strike again, and he's got Anderson in his sights.'

'When a bloody message is left carved into the body of a murdered man the forensic evidence indicates the killer was a hulking giant possessed of nearly superhuman strength. Psychic analysis of the crime scene indicates the murder was committed by a child. As she begins her investigation, Psi-Judge Cassandra Anderson learns of a terrible crime committed against the children of Mega-City One. Now, one of their victims has returned to even the score and as the body count rises and Anderson closes in on the killer, she is forced to confront the dark secrets of her own past.'

Three excellent books that really get into the world of Anderson and her PSI abilities and how the Justice Department utilise these specialist skills in their ongoing war against crime!

  2. I really enjoyed his style in these books. Lots of in jokes, especially in Sins of the Father, which made me laugh.
